EPPO Reporting Service (1995/210) : only grapevine bois noir phytoplasma occurs in Spain, not flavescence dorée.
EPPO Reporting Service (1997/113) : flavescence dorée found for the first time, in the region of Ampudan (Cataluña), near the French border. Confirmed by PCR method. Eradication measures.
EPPO Reporting Service (1997/175) : in 1994/1995, a survey in NE Spain (Aragon, Cataluña, Navarra) found bois noir at variable incidence in the first two regions but not in the third. This was the same survey which found flavescence dorée in Cataluña (cf. above).
EPPO Reporting Service (2001/142) : outbreak in Cataluña (in region north of Gerona) is now practically eradicated (but treatments against the vector are continuing). Declared absent in Andalucía and Islas Baleares
