EPPO Reporting Service (1993/26) : in Almería only, according to the Spanish plant protection service. However, there are later records in Islas Canarias and elsewhere in mainland.

EPPO Reporting Service (1999/129) : survey in 1997 showed that both Is and Sr isolates are widely distributed in southern Spain. Is isolate has also been found in phaseolus bean

EPPO Reporting Service (2000/027) : reported for the first time in southern Spain on Capsicum annuum in 1999

EPPO Reporting Service (2001/062) and 2002/129: both TYLCV-Sar and TYLCV are present.
