EPPO Reporting Service (508/08) of 1990-12. Also in Islas Canárias.

EPPO Reporting Service (1994/207) : most affected area is the Mediterranean coastal part of NE Spain.

EPPO Reporting Service (1998/10) : now limiting factor to the production of many vegetable crops. Severe economic losses in tomato, capsicum and lettuce. Spread related to Frankliniella occidentalis.

EPPO Reporting Service (2001/142) : reviews situation in different parts of Spain.

EPPO Reporting Service (2017/157) : an outbreak was found for the first time in Castilla y Leon in May 2017. TSWV was detected in tomato plants in one nursery in the municipality of Valencia de Don Juan (province of Leon).
