EPPO Reporting Service (1992/04) : the Portuguese plant protection service had found the virus on glasshouse plants at two locations in the Algarve. It is taking measures to eradicate the disease.
EPPO Reporting Service (1993/138) : increasing in importance in horticultural crops. Found on 22 species in 12 families. Most frequent in lettucce, capsicum and tomato; damaging to hydrangea.
EPPO Reporting Service (1994/206) : well established in NW Portugal.
From NPPO (2018): also found in region Centro.
