EPPO Reporting Service (2018/125) : surveys conducted in 2015 in citrus, grapevine and olive crops in 6 different regions (Azilal, Gharb, Haouz, Loukkos, Meknès, Souss) confirmed the absence of the bacterium.
EPPO Reporting Service (2022/045) : surveys in 2020-2021 showed that X. fastidiosa was not found in seven investigated areas (Tanger, Béni Mellal, Marrakech, Errachidia, Azilal, Meknès, Haouz, and Gharb) in Morocco. The country is considered free of the pest.
