Lamichhane et al. (2010) R. solanacearum sensu lato incidence in surveys (2007-2009) on major crops cultivated in different districts of Nepal. Average estimated disease incidence in potato (in Kathmandu, Nuwakot, Bhaktapur, Lalitpur and Kaski) reported as 20-40% with 75% yield loss compared with healthy crops in the same areas. Tomato (in Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Banke) had >60% wilt incidence and 90% yield loss. Eggplant (in Kathmandu, Nuwakot, Bhaktapur, Lalitpur, Kaski) 20-40% wilt and 32% yield loss. Pepper (in Kathmandu, Nuwakot, Bhaktapur, Lalitpur, Kaski) 40-60% wilt incidence and 90% yield loss.
