EPPO Reporting Service (1996/02) : first IF-positive samples found in 1995. Further monitoring is continuing.
EPPO Reporting Service (1997/111) : when IF-positive samples were retested, all results were negative. The earlier report is therefore erroneous. Nor has R. solanacearum ever been found in Austria on any other occasion.
EPPO Reporting Service (2009/083) : R. solanacearum was detected in 1 lot of ware potatoes during routine testing in a supermarket. This lot originated from a producer in Niederösterreich. Phytosanitary measures were taken.
EPPO Reporting Service (2015/028) : subsequent surveys did not detect the bacterium which is now considered to be eradicated.
