EPPO Reporting Service (1997/111) : R. solanacearum has never occurred in Slovakia. All testing results in 1996 were negative.
EPPO Reporting Service (1999/138) : negative results again in 1998.
The disease has been detected in consignments imported into Slovakia.
EPPO Reporting Service (2002/073) : still negative results.
EPPO Reporting Service (2004/004) : first found, at six localities, in 2003, under eradication.
NPPO (2025): Absence confirmed by official surveys conducted in 2024.

------- In annual surveys from 2003-2016, R. solanacearum [phylotype IIB-1] was detected in 46 lots of ware potato (9 lots in 2003, 4 in 2004, 8 in 2005, 4 in 2006, 9 in 2007, 4 in 2008, 5 in 2009 and 3 in 2010) but was not detected in seed potato during this period. Official eradication measures were taken.
