Comments
EPPO Reporting Service (1996/125) : authentic flavescence dorée occurs in Germany, as well as the more widespread and better known "Vergilbungskrankheit" which is almost certainly identical to bois noir.
The NPPO considered that this old record is invalid and that flavescence dorée does not occur in Germany (2011).

EPPO Reporting Service (2014/202) : detected in October 2014 in Vitis vinifera cv. ‘Chardonnay/SO4’ in an officially registered nursery for the production of grapevine plants, located in Rheinland-Pfalz. The vector, Scaphoideus titanus does not occur in Germany. Under eradication.

EPPO Reporting Service (2017/135) : officially declared eradicated.

EPPO Reporting Service (2021/040) : found in one Vitis plant in Rheinland-Pfalz, under eradication.

EPPO Reporting Service (2022/172) : eradicated from Rheinland-Pfalz.
