Pest status declared by NPPO: Present, in specific parts of the Member State (Styria, Burgenland), where host crop(s) are grown, under eradication (2019-01)
From CABI Disease map 764 (2023): Present, few occurrences
Comments
EPPO Reporting Service (2010/131) : detected for the first time in 2009 on grapevine and Clematis vitalba in Steiermark (Styria), under eradication.

From NPPO (2018): still present in Steiermark (Styria), demarcated areas are located in the municipalities of Gnas, Glanz, Tieschen. However, eradication was achieved in the demarcated areas of Bairisch Kölldorf and Stainz.

From NPPO (2019): in October 2018, an outbreak was found in Burgenland during the annual official survey. Under eradication: all affected plants were destroyed and contol againt the insect vector was applied.

From NPPO (2024): a single plant of Vitis vinifera tested positive in Oststeiermark, the plant was destroyed and testing of the area continues.
