EPPO Reporting Service (2016/133) : X. fastidiosa subsp. fastidiosa was detected in July 2016 in a single potted plant of Nerium oleander kept under a glasshouse (to overwinter) located in Saxony. Under eradication.
EPPO Reporting Service (2018/141) : as a precautionary measure, all plants of the glasshouse were destroyed in 2017. Intensive surveys did not detect the bacterium in the glasshouse and its surrounding. The isolated infestation in Saxony was officially declared eradicated in March 2018.
