P. horiana is occasionally found in Hungary, it is subject to official control.
EPPO Reporting Service 507/05 (1990): found in C and SE for first time in 1989. Due to rapid quarantine measures, eradicated.
EPPO Reporting Service 513/07 (1991): 2 sites (540 m2) were found infected.
EPPO Reporting Service (93/198): in 1991, reported as mainly in house gardens (0.5 ha). By 1993, 4 places (1 ha). By 1995, spot occurrence at 8 places (0.4 ha), 1 grower and house gardens.
EPPO Reporting Service (97/089): found at 19 localities (0.6 ha), in commercial crops and in house gardens.
EPPO Reporting Service (98/141): found at 8 localities in 1997 (0.5 ha). For 1998, NPPO reports it was found at 1 place (0.01 ha) in Bacsalmas (Bacs-Kiskun county) in glasshouse. Confirmed by EPPO Reporting Service (99/057).
EPPO Reporting Service (2000/100) : in glasshouses at 3 places in Kiskunmajsa and 1 place in Bácsalmás (Bács-Kiskun County) and at one place in Keszthely (Zala County).
