Comments
Note: the Solanaceae haplotypes of ‘Ca. L. solanacearum’ associated with zebra chip disease, as well as their psyllid vector, Bactericera cockerelli (Hemiptera: Psyllidae), are absent from the EPPO region.

EPPO Reporting Service (2012/219) : detected for the first time in 2012 in 2 fields of seed-producing carrots in region Centre. The carrot psyllid, Trioza apicalis, was found in diseased fields. Under official control.

From NPPO (2018): solanaceous haplotypes (A, B) have never been identified in France, only Apiaceae haplotypes (C, D, E) occur. In 2015, another outbreak (Apiaceae haplotype) was found in 1 plot of seed-producing carrots in Aude department (Occitanie region). Under official control.
