EPPO Reporting Service (2015/165) : first found in 2014 in commercial carrot fields in Niedersachsen.

NPPO: surveys conducted in 2016 detected the bacterium in carrot fields in Niedersachsen. . In 2020, the haplotypes of samples from 2016 were identified as haplotype C.
‘Candidatus Liberibacter solanacearum’ is a regulated non-quarantine pest for potato seed.
