Comments
A survey conducted in 2011/2012 showed that it causes a chronic disease in urban trees (mainly Quercus palustris, Q. rubra, Ulmus americana, Platanus occidentalis). All strains were identified as X. fastidiosa subsp. multiplex (except on Morus alba: X. fastidiosa subsp. sandyi).
