From NPPO (2019): until now there is no reliable bibliographic resource that indicates the presence of X. fastidiosa in Ecuador and since 2014, the 'National System of phytosanitary surveillance of Agrocalidad' has never detected it. X. fastidiosa is officially declared as absent from Ecuador.
