From country itself (1992): present on Christmas Island. Eradicated from Thursday Island.

Under eradication in Northern Territory (Reporting Service 526/08 of 1992-08). Previously thought eradicated, but recently 1991-04 found again in Lambell Lagoons area (50 km southeast of Darwin). On the 16 ha property affected, 96 of 166 pummelo trees were infected, the oldest being about 3.5 years old. All trees were destroyed by burning in 1991-05. In 1993-05, the disease was found again on a property adjacent to the originally infected property. Eradication continues.

EPPO Reporting Service (1997/177) : 20th Session of APPPC, Chiang Mai (TH). Found in 1993, eradication measures applied and not found since. Eradication successful in Northern Territory.

EPPO Reporting Service (2004/102) : outbreak in Queensland in 2004-07.

EPPO Reporting Service (2011/108) : the NPPO of Australia officially declared the eradication of citrus canker from Queensland (and therefore Australia) in January 2009.

EPPO Reporting Service (2018/101) : found again in Northern Territory and Western Australia. Under eradication.

EPPO Reporting Service (2019/223) : eradicated from Western Australia. Eradication continues in Northern territory. Absent from all other states and territories.

EPPO Reporting Service (2021/096) : successfully eradicated in April 2021.
