EPPO Reporting Service (1997/149) : with the publication of more details on the outbreak of M. dearnessii in Croatia (exclusively in Dalmatia, on Pinus halepensis), it seems clear that the earlier record for former Yugoslavia must have referred only to Croatia. So any record in present-day Yugoslavia should be regarded as doubtful.
