Ralstonia solanacearum species complex(RALSSO)
Distribution details in Argentina
Current pest situation evaluated by EPPO on the basis of information dated
2018: Present, no details
EPPO (1992): The source of the record in EPPO datasheet (1992) (nominally FAO) is quite uncertain, although it was unfortunately included in Distribution Maps of Quarantine Pests for Europe. It should be considered erroneous, though it is not implausible that the bacterium should occur in Argentina.
Since then, it was detected in tomato, and tobacco.
Moko disease on banana is absent (2021).
