Comments
Reported from in Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Emilia-Romagna, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Lazio, Piemonte, Trentino and Veneto.

EPPO Reporting Service (1993/103) : first record in Italy in 1992.

EPPO Reporting Service (2009/215) : first noticed in Lazio region (province of Latina) in 1992 where it remained sporadic and with a low incidence during 15 years. But in 2007/2008 economic losses started to be observed particularly in the Lazio region. In 2009, it was reported to occur in Emilia-Romagna, Lazio, and Veneto.

EPPO Reporting Service (2010/144) : first found in Piemonte region.

EPPO Reporting Service (2011/131) : detected in Calabria, Campania, Friuli-Venezia Giulia.

EPPO Reporting Service (2017/182) : detected in Trentino.

From NPPO (2019): one outbreak detected in Basilicata (region where it was not present before) in September 2018. All infected plants were burnt.
