EPPO Reporting Service (2011/168) : detected for the first time in a small and young commercial orchard in Meynier (Geneva canton), all infested plants have been destroyed.
EPPO Reporting Service (2015/132) : eradicated from the canton of Geneva (see above) but new findings were made in the cantons of Vaud and Thurgau in 2015. Eradication continues.
EPPO Reporting Service (2017/221) : update. Eradication continues.
From NPPO (2018 & 2019): detected in 1 kiwifruit plant in June 2018 (canton of Vaud). Some weeks later, symptoms were observed across the whole orchard. Only biovars 4 and 5 were detected. Eradication is no longer considered feasible.
