Comments
First record in Key West (Florida) in 1937, since spread in Florida, to Key Largo (1969), Miami (1971) and Palm Beach (1973). Also in Texas (on Phoenix dactylifera and P. canariensis, 1978).

EPPO Reporting Service (2019/049) : first found in autumn 2017 in Baton Rouge (Louisiana) on ornamental palms (Phoenix sylvestris and Trachycarpus fortunei).
