EPPO Reporting Service (1999/172) : found in Mexicali, Baja California (it had previously intercepted in USA on consignments originating in Mexico).
EPPO Reporting Service (2001/012) : confirmation that the outbreak is limited to the Mexicali valley in Baja California, and San Luis Rio Colorado in Sonora. Under eradication in cooperation with USA.

EPPO Reporting Service (2004/083) : separate find in Nayarit site, on Tectona grandis. Present in areas of El Porvenir, San Vicente, Valle de Banderas, San Jose, San Juan de Abajo, Colomo (total infested area 63 ha).
From Cham et al. (2019): also found on Annona muricata in Nayarit state.
