EPPO Reporting Service (2002/092) : single case in a tomato glasshouse in autumn 2001.
EPPO Reporting Service (2003/132) : another case in 2002 in a different tomato fruit production unit. No finds in 2003.
Official surveys conducted in 2009 detected PepMV in 1 tomato fruit production site (which had also been found infected in 2008).
Official surveys conducted in 2012 did not detect PePMV (inspections were only carried out in premises producing plants for planting). No pest status was given.
From NPPO (2022): PepMV is no longer regulated in Denmark. Regular plant health inspections have not detected it in premises producing plants for planting. Non-pathogenic strains are authorized to be used as microbiological control agent.
