Populations attacking potatoes occur in the highlands.

EPPO Reporting Service (1995/135) : first found in lowlands, southeast of Buenos Aires, the seed potatoes having come from the highlands. Based on Nematological Abstracts 63, p. 167, abstract 1465.

EPPO Reporting Service (1998/18) : though originally reported on potato in the highlands, N. aberrans is in fact found throughout the country, and can be associated with a large number of plants such as potatoes, vegetables and weeds. The main problem is on potato.

EPPO Reporting Service (2003/099) : first finds in Rio Negro and Santa Fe provinces.

EPPO Reporting Service (2009/182) : also found in Jujuy province.
