EPPO Reporting Service (2018/008) : first found in September 2017 in a commercial field of carrots in the municipality of Olho Marinho. Under eradication.
From NPPO (2018): in the framework of a national survey program, the presence of Candidatus Liberibacter solanacearum – Haplotype E - was detected in a sample taken from a carrot production field showing suspicious symptoms in the municipality of Pó (also in the Centro region, a few km away from Olho Marinho). Under eradication.
