'Candidatus Liberibacter asiaticus'(LIBEAS)
Distribution details in India
First recorded in: 1960s
From CABI Disease map 766 (2012): Present, restricted distribution
EPPO Reporting Service (1997/115) : according to Bové (1995) Virus and virus-like diseases of citrus in the Near East region (FAO), present in all citrus-growing areas including many states not previously mentioned specifically.
EPPO Reporting Service (2015/053) : surveys (from 2007 to 2012) using molecular techniques (real-time PCR) have showed that 'Ca. L. asiaticus' is widespread in India.
