Comments
EPPO Reporting Service (2001/120) : first single find in July 2001 on old pear tree. Eradication measures applied. Two further positive samples found within 1000 m; trees destroyed. All three finds in private gardens; not an important fruit production area. No other finds. So considered, provisionally, as eradicated.

EPPO Reporting Service (2003/068) : new find after surveys in area of first infestation in 2002, at Skofya Loka. Strict measures were applied, but the disease nevertheless spread to 73 new foci in May-June 2003.

From NPPO (2017): present in Slovenia except the regions of Gorenjska, Koroška, Maribor and Notranjska, and the communes of Lendava and Renče-Vogrsko (south from the highway H4).

From NPPO (2018): an outbreak was detected in a previously pest-free area. E. amylovora was detected in 1 symptomatic Mespilus sp. plant in a private garden. Under eradication.
