Comments
EPPO Reporting Service (1996/004): first report in 1995, in eastern part at five locations on single trees of apple, pear and quince (Nustar, Osijek, Drenje, Cepin, Petrijevci, Bizovac, Jarmina). Eradication programme applied.

By 1996, restricted distribution in eastern Slavonia. Eradication programme continues.

EPPO Reporting Service (2000/099) : by 1998, the disease was considered as established in eastern Slavonia and a 10-km wide phytosanitary corridor was put in place across the north, middle and south of Slavonia. Monitoring in 1999 showed that the disease did not spread to the eastern edge of this buffer zone nor into the zone.
