RS 365 of 1972: ring rot was found in 1966 and declared eradicated in 1972.

Eradication was declared between 1986 and 1988, but the disease has been found again since.

EPPO Reporting Service (98/027): research in Denmark has shown that plant-to-plant transmission is minimal, and that the disease is spread by equipment. The relevant precautions have been strengthened. No case of ring rot has been found in Danish seed potatoes in 1995 or 1996.

EPPO Reporting Service (2013/082) : based on the results of official inspections and surveys during the last 8 years the NPPO declared that ring rot has been eradicated from Denmark.
