EPPO Reporting Service (1998/28) : serious attacks found in tomato in Puglia and Basilicata in June 1997. First report in southern Italy since an isolated case 15 years earlier. Probably linked to use of an infected seed lot.
EPPO Reporting Service (1998/65) : also record in February 1997 in Lazio.
EPPO Reporting Service (1999/095) : one outbreak in Lombardia in 1998.
EPPO Reporting Service (2010/157) : one outbreak in Puglia region in 2010, under official control.
EPPO Reporting Service (2011/114) : one outbreak in Friuli-Venezia Giulia region in 2010, under official control.
EPPO Reporting Service (2012/014) : from May to July 2010, severe outbreaks of bacterial canker were observed in 16 fields (more than 300 ha) in the province of Viterbo, Lazio region.
EPPO Reporting Service (2012/038) : in summer 2010, a severe outbreak was observed in field tomatoes in Basilicata and Puglia. All infected tomato crops (cv. 'Uno Rosso') derived from the same seed lot.
EPPO Reporting Service (2013/101) : detected in glasshouse tomatoes in Sardegna and Lazio in spring 2013, in both cases eradication measures were taken.
