Present in the North and also around Napoli and in Roma. Presumably spread to Italy some time after the introduction into southern France from USA after World War II.
EPPO Reporting Service (524/07) of 1992-06: also in Sicilia, but only in Siracusa. Three infected trees found in Palermo in 1991 and destroyed.
