Comments
According to Chapin & Arcangioli (2007), first observed in 1983 in Ticino (Mendrisiotto, shores of Lake Lugano, Malcantone) and confirmed in 1986. Small outbreak found in 1987 in Morges (Vaud canton). Dectected on 3 sites in 2001, 2002, 2003 in Geneva.

EPPO Reporting Service (1987/478): Ticino canton, spreading.

EPPO Reporting Service (2008/199) : mainly in Ticino but also detected in Geneva canton.

EPPO Reporting Service (2020/177) : no detected for at least 10 years in cantons of Geneva and Vaud. Restricted distribution in canton of Ticino. Under eradication.
