Pest status declared by NPPO: Present, only in some parts of the Member State concerned, only in greenhouse, under eradication (2022-10)
Comments
EPPO Reporting Service (2021/033) : found in two shrubs of Mangifera indica in a tropical greenhouse in Thuringia. Under eradication.

EPPO Reporting Service (2021/059) : found again in a tropical greenhouse in Berlin. Under eradication.

NPPO (2021-12): following trace forward investigation related to an outbreak in the Netherlands, one infested Ficus lyrata plant was found in Niedersachsen in a greenhouse in September 2021. The infested plant was detroyed. Inspection of other host plants and trapping for 12 weeks did not detect any other E. fornicatus in the greenhouse. This outbreak is considered eradicated.

EPPO Reporting Service (2023/005) : the outbreak in Berlin is still under eradication as beetles were still trapped in September 2022.
