Widespread but no damage has occurred.
EPPO Reporting Service (1999/057) : NPPO reports in 1998 that it was found at 4 places (18 ha) in Csanadapaca (Békés county) and in Szeged (Csongrad county).
EPPO Reporting Service (2000/100) : observed in 1999 on capsicum at one place (0.7 ha) in Dombiratos (Békés County) and one place in Budapest on stored capsicum seeds.
On the basis of currently available information, the pathogen may be X. vesicatoria, or X. euvesicatoria, or both.
