First found in 1995 on peach in Gard department. Locally present in Gard, Hérault, Drome, Ardèche, Lot et Garonne, Bouches-du-Rhône mainly on peach and Japanese plum (EFSA, 2014).
EPPO Reporting Service (1997/112) : 3 outbreaks found on peach in the southeast of France (first French record). Delimiting survey under way.
EPPO Reporting Service (2001/118) : spread in Gard and Drôme, mainly on peach but also on apricot and plum.
EPPO Reporting Service (2004/022) : persists at a moderate level in Drôme and low level in Gard.
