EPPO Reporting Service (1995/41) : first record in Sardegna in 1988, then in Sicilia, then in 1991 in Calabria (south of Italy).
EPPO Reporting Service (2001/062) : in Sardegna and Sicilia, the virus present is TYLCV-Sar.
EPPO Reporting Service (2001/171) : reported in Puglia, also TYLCV-Sar.
EPPO Reporting Service (2002/129) : confirmed as only TYLCV-Sar.
EPPO Reporting Service (2004/109) : first report of TYLCV, in Sicilia, as opposed to TYLCV-Sardinia, which is already present.
EPPO Reporting Service (2011/108) : TYLCV detected in Emilia-Romagna in 1 glasshouse (tomatoes grown for breeding purposes), all symptomatic plants were destroyed.
