ToCV has been reported from the following Italian regions: Campania, Puglia, Sardegna, Sicilia.

EPPO Reporting Service (2001/194) : first report in winter 2000/2001 in Sardegna, Sicilia and Puglia, associated with Trialeurodes vaporariorum and Bemisia tabaci.

EPPO Reporting Service (2002/079) : less important than TSWV or TYLCV.

EPPO Reporting Service (2006/184) : now found in Campania.
