Outbreaks were first discovered in 1948 in several household plots in Madona, Lubana, Aluksnes and Amata (Vidzeme region). The total area of infected soil is 1.98 ha. Under eradication.
EPPO Reporting Service (2017/063) : soil samples from all infected sites have been regularly tested in the laboratory and as the fungus has not been detected since 1985, the NPPO of Latvia officially declared the disease eradicated in September 2016.
