EPPO Reporting Service (1999/135) : on Pinus mugo in 1996.

EPPO Reporting Service (2012/241) : in July 2011, detected on ornamental pines (Pinus mugo and P. nigra) in the city of Gmunden (Oberösterreich) along the north-eastern coast of Lake Traun. First documented record on P. nigra.

From Kirisits & Cech (2012): between 2009 and 2011, found in new localities in the lander of Niederösterreich, Oberösterreich, Steiemark, Vorarlberg, Tyrol and Salzburg on several hosts (Pinus mugo, Pinus sylvestris). In 2011, it was also found on Pinus nigra var. nigra growing in a private garden at Gmunden (Oberösterreich).

EPPO Reporting Service (2015/192) : outbreak found in Tyrol in 2015.

EPPO Reporting Service (2016/173) : outbreak detected in Salzburg on P. mugo subsp. mugo and P. mugo subsp. uncinata.

From NPPO (2018): detected on Pinus mugo in the municipalities of Achenkirch and Eben am Achensee (Tyrol). Under official control.
