------- In surveys across potato producing areas in 2018 and 2019 , R. solanacearum [phylotype II sequevar 1] was found distributed across all 4 provinces (East, West, North and South). R. pseudosolanacearum [phylotype III] (4 of 95 isolates from 3 of 4 provinces) was also reported for the first time in Rwanda ([PIII-29] and possibly [PIII-21] on potato).
