EPPO Reporting Service (1994/201) : it is considered that there has never been adequate proof of the presence of PSTVd in Turkey. Recent surveys have confirmed its absence from the Aegean region (Cicek & Querci, 1994).
According to Bostan et al. (2010), PSTVd was detected in 4 out of 891 potato tubers (symptomatic tubers collected from 2006 to 2009 from markets in Erzurum).
