EPPO Reporting Service (2010/040) : not found during the 2008 official surveys.
From NPPO (2018): official annual surveys were carried out in 2007-2013, including solanaceous ornamentals.
- 2007: PSTVd was found in 1 Brugmansia spp. plant.
- 2008-2013: no infection found in ornamentals.
- 2015: PSTVd was found in a tomato fruit production site during the official survey of TASVd, eradication measures were applied.
In addition, PSTVd has been found in 1 company on 4 occasions: on potato plants in the field (2012), on 2 potato tubers used as breeding material (2014) and twice in closed conditions in potato meristem clone collection (2016 and 2017). Infected material was destroyed in each case.
