EPPO Reporting Service (1999/005) : first report, in the tree collection of the Horticultural Institute at Babtai.
EPPO Reporting Service (2000/060) : found in 1999 at 4 production sites. All infested plants were destroyed .
EPPO Reporting Service (2000/136) : found in 2000 on plum in 6 orchards and 9 private gardens. Infected trees have been, or are being, destroyed. Confirmed by EPPO Reporting Service (2001/047)
EPPO Reporting Service (2003/051) : 3 outbreaks found in 2002, on 439 plum trees. Still under eradication.
EPPO Reporting Service (2004/078) : 3 finds on plum in 2003, 2 in breeding research stations and one in a private garden. The three trees were destroyed

EPPO Reporting Service (2016/109) : in 2015, 4 outbreaks were detected on plum trees in the regions of Kaunas, Vilnius and Marijampolė. Under eradication.
EPPO Reporting Service (2017/092) : in 2016, 1 outbreak was detected on plum trees in the region of Kaunas. Under eradication.
From NPPO (2018): no new outbreaks were found in 2017.
From NPPO (2018 and 2019): in 2018, PPV was detected in 18 seedlings (Prunus domestica cv. Herman) in a nursery in the Kaunas county. Infected plants were burnt. Eradication programme continues.
