Pest status declared by NPPO: Present, only in some areas, but under eradication (2013-10)
Comments
First found in 2008 in the south and southeast part of Latvia (4 outbreaks in Zemgale and Vidusdaugava regions). Eradication measures were taken. In 2009, PPV was no longer detected in the localities of the first outbreaks, but 1 new outbreak was detected in the Zemgale region in a commercial Prunus orchard. Eradication continues.

EPPO Reporting Service (2013/224) : in 2013, the NPPO declared that the last findings had been made in 2010. Eradication continues.
