EPPO Reporting Service (2024/006) : detected in Glubokovskiy district (East Kazakhstan Region) on symptomatic Abies sibirica. Considered to be present for about 10 years.

EPPO Reporting Service (2024/075) : P. proximus is a quarantine pest in Kazakhstan and annual surveys are being conducted. These surveys have not detected the pest in the country. However, it is planned to inspect forest plantations in the Eastern regions of Kazkhstan in 2024. The NPPO considers that this pest is absent from its territory.
