EPPO Reporting Service (2022/016) : detected in 2021 in a small vineyard in the North-East region. Under eradication.
NPPO (2023): as a result of a monitoring program, four plots in the Iaşi county tested positive for infection. Under eradication.
NPPO (2024): outbreaks identified on Vitis vinifera plants in a private garden in Timiş, in the Vest region as well as in vineyards in Vaslui county and Iaşi country in Nord-Est region and Vrancea in Sud-Est region. Under eradication.
EPPO Reporting Service (2026/195) : reported in several counties in 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025.
NPPO (2023): as a result of a monitoring program, four plots in the Iaşi county tested positive for infection. Under eradication.

------- Surveys in 2010-2011 detected 118 samples infected with Flavescence dorée phytoplasma out of the 378 grapevine samples collected from 37 cultivars with characteristic symptoms. All infected plants will be removed.
