Comments
EPPO Reporting Service (2011/108) : coconut lethal yellowing disease is spreading along the coastal areas (Inhambane, Zambezia provinces). The type of phytoplasma associated with the disease is not specified.

A paper from Bonnot et al. (2010) confirms that coconut lethal yellowing occurs in Mozambique. It appeared in the district of Mtwara (close to Tanzania). Most cases are now concentrated in the southern area of Quelimane.
