EPPO Reporting Service (2013/009) : first found in 2010, several localities in the state of Roraima (Boa Vista, Bonfim, Normandia, Pacaraima).
EPPO Reporting Service (2015/035) : found in Espirito Santo in May 2012 in commercial okra fields in the municipality of Cachoeiro de Itapemirim. Other specimens were then found on the same site on more plants (Abelmoschus esculentus, Solanum americanum and an unidentified weed).
Also found in 2013 in another municipality (Linhares) in Espirito Santo and for the first time in the state of Bahia in the municipality of Mucuri on cocoa plants.
