EPPO Reporting Service (2013/170) : first reported in 1997 in declining guava trees (Psidium guajava) in Mpumalanga province. During the 2011/2012 potato growing season, it was detected in 5 potato samples from KwaZulu-Natal province.

EPPO Reporting Service (2020/158) : reported from the provinces of Limpopo, Northern Cape and North West.
